Tuneback: Release Me
February 27, 2007 | Author: Joel Falconer | Filed under: , ,
When we’re creating a Tuneback, it’s a bit of a competition to see if we can get it done quicker than the last time. The rule is that a Tuneback can’t take more than an hour to make. We try to cut time down because we’ve got an album to record and we don’t want to let this small step into the online world distract us from the real work of creating and recording Violence of the Soul.
It’s going to be damn hard to beat this record. We recorded this song in 25 minutes, from the time we got the idea to the time we saved the song as an MP3. It’s also the shortest thing we’ve ever written, coming in at less than two minutes.
To the point: this week’s “Tuesday Tuneback” (as some have called it, and yes, we do know that if you’re in America you probably get this on a Monday) is dedicated to the Reasonable Agreement project. Love what you’re doing, guys. Here’s a tune to celebrate it! This one’s called Release Me and it’s Midnight.Haulkerton’s show of support for the mission of Reasonable Agreement.
